Freedom House “ Liberty Golf Tournament “
With summertime and great weather right around the corner, the Noosa team is excited to get outside and take part in a few of our favorite charitable and community events. Giving back and helping those less fortunate have always been woven into the culture at Noosa and in 2015 we have some great sponsorships and events lined up to continue that commitment. One event we have coming up on May 8th is the 5th annual Liberty Golf Tournament put on by Freedom House Church. Pastor Troy Maxwell of Freedom House Church is a long time friend of Noosa and we are thrilled to take part in this event for the 5th year in a row.
This tournament takes place at the Rocky River Golf Club in Concord, NC. The event is put on to benefit the Watoto Church in Kampala, Uganda. This is a church that was founded by Gary and Marilyn Skinner in 1982 and it was initiated in response to a huge number of orphaned children and vulnerable women in the area. Now, over 30 years after the church was founded, over 17,000 attend one of the 20 weekend services put on across the city. Watoto helps in many ways and considers themselves a holistic care program to aid the citizens of Uganda. They provide physical care, medical intervention, education, trauma counseling, and spiritual discipleship.

Freedom House Church and Noosa Pest Management focus on serving and bettering our community, whether that is around the corner locally or in a totally different country.
