GoPro Motorplex Team Building Event

At Noosa our pest management professionals and certified applicators work hard!  They are in the field battling clients’ pest control problems every day.  They are a dedicated group and we decided they were due for an afternoon off!  We also thought it would be a good time for a team building event to bring our awesome staff together in a different environment.

This is where the idea for our outing to the GoPro Motorplex came from.  GoPro Motorplex is a premier karting facility located in Mooresville.  This trip to a top notch facility gave our staff an opportunity to participate in a fun and exciting event but also come together and share stories and feedback on their work.  We think it is so important as a service driven company to get our team together to bounce ideas off of each other, share experiences and hone skills.  After a busy summer season, we thought this was the perfect time to bring everyone together.

Our trip started with a training and safety course led by the incredible staff at GoPro Motorplex.  We were then treated to 2 ten-minute races around the track.  These karts are no joke!  We were going upwards of 50 MPH and there are no bumpers – so it was a truly thrilling experience.  Our champion for the day was Will, with the fastest time and taking home the highest honors. (he is on the top of the podium in the image above).  Go Will!!!
