Here at Noosa Pest Management, LLC, one of the most popular topics we discuss with prospective clients is our botanical pest control service.  As the general public has become more concerned about what is in the food they are eating, how many miles they can drive their car between fill ups and how each product they support or purchase ends up affecting our environment, the pest control industry is no different.  As our clients are gathering the information to make an educated decision about what type of pest control service to select and which firm to contract to perform the service, we help explain the benefits and overall differences that our botanical service has compared to our normal hybrid pest control service.

The botanical pest control service that Noosa Pest provides, utilizes products that contain botanical or naturally occurring active ingredients.  These products have made incredible strides over the years in their effectiveness and overall efficiency.  These products do not last as long in the environment and around your home therefore a more frequent service frequency is applied.  Noosa Pest Management’s botanical pest control service is provided to our clients every two months.

Also, the expectations and goals of our clients are important to us.  We realize that our clients are paying us to perform a service and keep the pest pressure around their home to an acceptable level.  Every client’s “acceptable level” is different.  Every client’s home and pest issues are also different.  This is why our team at Noosa Pest discusses in detail the goals of our service with our clients.  For example, if our client has been battling ants for years with another pest control service provider with little to no success and they do not want to see one more ant in their home, the botanical pest service is probably not the best fit for that client.  The botanical products perform better on homes that simply need a maintenance program to keep any foraging insects from making their way into the home.

At this point in the conversation with a prospective pest control client, our team will discuss the details of our “regular” or hybrid quarterly pest control service.  The frequency of this service is every 90 days or every three months.  Noosa Pest’s quarterly pest control service uses both botanical and traditional insecticides to maximize the effectiveness of the service and give our clients the most value.  The liquid application will be composed of traditional insecticides that are not naturally occurring.  The advantage to these products are the length of time that they can last through rain, sunlight and other elements that break down these products.  They only need to be applied every 90 days to be effective.  The Noosa Pest quarterly pest control service will utilize a botanical granular bait product in the flowering bed and ground cover areas to defend the structure and give a second zone of defense against foraging insects.  This product is 100% botanical and the insects that are attracted to it are too numerous to list!

Noosa Pest also utilizes the lowest impact, non-botanical products.  If we are battling ants in a client’s kitchen, Noosa’s Pest Management professional will apply a small amount of ant gel that is incredibly effective and is one of the lowest impact products available.  Noosa’s management team is consistently visiting trade shows and discussing with other pest management operators different options and new products that align with our clients’ values and Noosa mission to protect our clients home by treating them as we ourselves, wish to be treated.

Given the advances in technology as it relates to the manufacturing of naturally occurring insecticides, Noosa Pest will continue to evaluate our application and service techniques.  The botanical line of products for the pest control industry is growing on nearly a daily basis and in the future this will improve our ability to serve our clients needs in as we perform botanical pest control services.
